The Nature of Our Business

FECO EXPORTING buys and sells commodities worldwide, acting as either a buyer or a seller at any given time. We do not participate in the speculative or "spot" marketplace. We buy and sell commodities based on future delivery dates using the safest trading application in the world. The prices FECOEX offers for its products when selling commodities are real prices, often significantly lower than those of similar goods found on speculative exchanges.

FECOEX Suppliers

FECOEX sources goods and considers offers from suppliers seven days a week. Once a price is successfully negotiated and an offer is accepted, FECOEX purchases the goods. The supplier must ensure that the goods being offered remain valid for at least two months from the date of consideration.

A supplier is defined as a seller who owns the goods they are offering and who fully understands how Incoterms, international contracts, and payment terms apply.

We Strictly Apply Rules and Laws

FECOEX procedures are legally defined, very safe, and strictly applied. We apply laws and rules for the specific purpose of protecting the clients we deal with, whether they are end buyers purchasing goods from us or suppliers selling goods to us. ICC Incoterms delivery rules and ICC UCP DLC rules apply at all times. These rules also support our offers and contracts.

Suppliers Worldwide

Suppliers worldwide looking to secure a large order and rest an acceptable quantity of goods with FECO EXPORTING via an Assurance of Supply or a formal offer for our purchase consideration may do so by email. All offers must have a minimum validity period of three months.

For Full Container Load (FCL) shipments, FECOEX considers revolving lots of 200 MT or more per month, with a minimum revolving period of four months. An ideal validity period is six months.

Pricing and Payment Terms

FECO EXPORTING prefers fixed pricing for the full contract duration. Alternatively, we may consider index-based pricing with an appropriate volume discount.

We do not accept pricing based on averages calculated the day before, on, or after loading. A confirmed fixed price is required to lodge the financial instrument well in advance of loading.

Payments to suppliers are made exclusively via non-cumulative revolving Documentary Letters of Credit (DLCs), issued for the full contract value through top 100 global banks prior to delivery.

We commit to signing contracts and lodging the financial instrument within seven (7) days of signing, for deliveries commencing 30 days thereafter. We handle only large-volume contracts and require suppliers with sufficient stock to support a minimum of six revolving shipments per year.
